i started dealing with adult when it was still referred to as "blue content" in 1997... wassup RAY!!!

I started working in strip clubs in 1984 or 85, god im fucking old.

remember windy city BBS? I do, but I was just a consumer back then. So to be fair I said 6-10yrs.

I actually ran a BBS in early 90's for about a minute, but that don't count.

Video editor for Adults Only Video back in '92-94...so that'd be my first foray into the industry.

Started our own production company in 1999 - although we were producing/stockpiling original content since '95.

Full time, 100% self employed for 8 years.

2 Years on October 16th 2007. However I've been self-employed (internet related) forever. Only job I've ever had is sitting in my room. :)

Full-time and self-employed for over 18 years now!

I started when I was in grad school. The $400 a month plus tuition I was making at my GA (graduate assistant) position wasn't cutting it for me, so I supplemented my income by shooting some hotties on campus and I started a phone sex company. The university soon discovered what I was doing and gave me an option of quitting my GA position or stop my work in this field. To their surprise, I immediately gave them my 2 week notice--they obviously didn't realize the money I was making.

I started shooting porn and launched my first adult pay site at the turn of the century... :pimp

I started my first site in 97 as a hobby after college.

In 99 turned it pay. Added more porn sites that year. Nice side income.

2003 left telco to form production company, and do adult full time.

2007 started investing in mainstream ventures. Buying existing sites with members and traffic. Developing new applications for online music network among other things.
