Q: Re: Internic vs. Other Registrars....
I just checked an expired domain list from one of the registrars... and it said a certain domain was expired. I searched the registrar, and it errored out.
Then I searched Networksolutions, and it said it was not available. Then I checked internic's Whois database, and the domain could not be found. Any ideas why this happens? I'm assuming it hasn't propogated to each registrar, but, what other reasons could make this happen? I'm asking because it's a pretty nice domain, and was going to pick it up.... and to see if there's a way to get around this waiting for it to propogate issue. -Thanks |
try register.com. If the name is in flux, they will allow you to register it. If it becomes unavailable, they will let you know.

OpenSRS does the same thing... if it was just registered by someone, it may appear available, but when you try to register it, it will tell you it's unavail.
fuck Network Solutions and their prehistoric system. OpenSRS rocks. |
Ok, I just checked OpenSRS and Internic... and didn't find any matches for the domain....
But, the registrars all say it's taken. Any suggestions? |
