I used to use logic, but now im totally into cubase [steinberg.de] - perfect for my uses (dance music) - i already released some records and did some porn movie stuff :)

If anyone is in need for music (house/dance at 125-140bpm, i own all rights) - will exchange for content (babe, pornstars etc).

I use Sony Acid. But I don't really do "beats" but more regular-type recordings.

I started using Fruity Loops for about 2 weeks ago. It's fun to play around with...

i heard reason is the best but fruity loops is prettty easy

Cosign... I've been using reason for about 4 years now and still love it..

My label has about 7 albums worth of material all produced with reason, cubase, a midi keyboard a mic and a few random instruments.

Cubase sx . I just lay down one shot drum samples and arrange them as I want. this is the low budget . You can also buy hardware as an MPC ..no quality loss etc
