ok, tech/ccbill/form hits question... Gurus?
k
I have always wanted to ask this and never got around to it but here goes Why are the "form hits" so high but submissions are considerably lower like 30-35%? Ex. yesterday for me was 46 form hits, 14 signups Why would they bother to even load the form if they didnt intend to signup? They have already toured the site, they click the button to signup and then when the form loads they dont do it? Is there any way i can improve these numbers? Its ccbills form...I could use a different template i suppose but beyond that what? Thanks Deb |
Perhaps they are loading the join page to see what their membership options are or how much it costs? Are these listed on the site somewhere they can see easily?
|
no the price is listed right buy the buttons...take a look
http://www.debsdeepthroat.com/join.html There shouldnt be any reason to click the button unless they intend to join... I dunno, never made much sense to me Would be great if there is some way to increase these though |

who knows... |
My guess would be because you say the price is $19.99, but your form says $19.99 then rebills at $2 more, so that probably turns them off. Usually you reward them for staying a member, not charge them more.

ok |
So if i were to change my pricing...as you stated....Should i stay with 19.99, or raise higher, i notice many sites are 24.95 a month

Your site is hardcore & exclusive content so you could probably go as high as $29.95. You should also offer some sort of cancellation offer, usually those are fairly low, like $14.95 to $16.95, the thought behind that is they were going to cancel anyway, if you can keep them at a lower prices it's better than nothing. |

will see what tomorrow brings |
Deb you'll find a lot of people hit the form to really see what the billing details are. A lot of people bail out too when they actually HAVE to pull out a CC and spend money.
