I'm writing a CMS program, what should it include?

Well it's not me writing it, it will be done by my programmers and will be for sale afterwards. So what would you like it to do. Already have a list.

Shopping basket for surfers and professionals.
Listing different types of content, videos, images, mobile, ipod, text, etc.
Rotation, scheduling, archiving.
Multiple URLs, Tours, duplicate sites.
Listing of Views and star rating.
Attributes, sections, niches and search engine.
Listing content by date, star rating, views attributes and models.
Rotating content on tours.
RSS, FHG, GOD with all the info of the original content.
Listing content seen and favorites.

So what am I missing? Besides magic join links.

Oh greaaaaat.... Maybe you should hire a professional software architect to help you out with that stuff... better still, maybe look at the competition to get a clue about real features?? :P

So... never ask the client what they want - it's a waste of time - they are generally clueless and rarely could write a system spec for their ass.

Vague bullshit is something programmers don't need - suggest you get a proper sys spec.
