all the graphics that your eyes are drawn to... don't clarify what the site is, what it is for, what products are offered... how someone can make money etc... it just basically says "cutting edge designs" over and over. there is no sales pitch for the product... the product is an affiliate program being marketed to webmasters for them to make money.
if you want people to join an affiliate program, i think the selling point is money, tools etc and you have to be able to communicate very clearly what it is, what the benefits are and why you're better than the competition. with that site, you have to read the small text for a first hint of what the site even is or what it is for.
i'm bored and notoriously cynical... so take it all with a grain of salt. my philosophy has always been that if its not clear at a quick glance... then you are losing 1/2 your potential sales BEFORE you have the chance to make the pitch.... i think people tend to skim and move on. they don't tend to investigate and get into the details and you can't force them to.
