Yahoo Marketing Denied because I didn't supply login/pass
ID/Password Required
Your site cannot be reviewed because a user name and password are required to access the content. Suggested Action: Use the Support Request form to send us a user name and password for access to all areas of your site. The Support Request form can be found in the upper right hand corner of most pages in your account. If I supply the surfer with a login/pass why would he pay ? This makes no sense to me. Unless the login/pass is only for editorial use. |
umm.. I would read that as Yahoo will use it... and not give it to surfers... just a hunch.
|
lol, they are not talking about supplying the surfer with a password, just the Yahoo account reviewer(s).

But I can see where you'd be wondering WTF - they should clarify 'reviewed by our editors' heheheh |

thanks for infos, sig dropped

because since you require login in areas of your site, they want to make sure if their ads are gonna go inthere, they don't go against their terms, ya think they're gonna just give you an account because what they can SEE looks fine?
|
Don't you just love dealing with Yahoo :)
The password's for the editors. Once you provide it to them, get ready for a slew of complaints from them from everything about the content to your upsells. Their editors are really satists! WG |
^ yeah I totally agree
