ok i got an email, and i think its someone complaining about a site on my freehost, but i dont know... i tried the translator thing at altavista and it came out as nonsense...

If you read the link he's posted someone is caling him a prostitute and fag and all that. Quite shitty, but they're people from France so i wouldn't worry about it.

they are not french but belgian and the site is truly defamatory to him....
its stating his real name and saying that the guy is a prostitute and a blackmailer....

if i were you i'd cancel this account as you could get in trouble for hosting such pages

how could i get in trouble for hosting that info? if i could get in trouble for this, then anyone who hosts any page that talks bad about anyone could get in trouble... every hosting company in teh world would be shut down.

Once you have been alerted by the person who is being defamed, attacked, threatened, or whatever, then you could find yourself liable if you don't remove the information they want removed. It's possible that the laws of some countries may protect you, but others probably won't. When someone notifies you that their personal info is being posted, you should remove it right away to avoid problems.

I do agree that you shouldn't get in trouble as long as you don't know about it, but once you find out about the problem, the rules change.
