Hi again guys/girls.

htaccess question.

What would I put inside of an .htaccess file that would cause the 401 Unauthorized to display after the first attempt?
You know how password boxes give you three attempts. I would like just one attempt.

For example http://test:[email protected]
User test with the password test would fail and redirect to a 401 page, without opening a box giving you another chance to get it right :)

chance at entry not the web server. You might able
about to run a trick or 2 in IE, but you're not going to
be able to stop it across the board.

true. there is a way to do it but i cant remember :/
