I've searched the threads and the top suggestions seem to be verotel and ccbill.

unfortunately I don't have 750$ to throw around for the visa with ccbill.. without visa is ccbill still one of the best bets?

I contacted verotel on monday to discuss the rates, so I could have a better understanding.. and trying to figure out ALL of the fees with them before going foward.. as I don't have a lot of money to throw around until I'm actually making money with the website.

I first tried to open an account with 'charge.com' when searching for 'adult payment processors' on google, and ended up finding out that the website had it's information wrong and they don't accept adult content.

my website is: domaindolls.com , and right now.. he can't do anything else until we figure out what payment processor we're going to use, so he can go foward with the site. I'm from the US.

what's your suggestions?

personally if you don't have alot of money lieing around the best processor to use would have to be verotel. I my self began out the same like you and used verotel and when i made some decent money i purchased visa with ccbill and use both of them now.

should I go for "Verotel Ticketsclub" then?

The other thing you can do is find someone that has a ccbill account to setup a sub account for your site. I've found some people will do that for a % of what your site makes.

Simple answer. Verotel. That might not be the answer for "everyone" seeking processing, but for your situation and having checked your site, I strongly believe you'd be best served by Verotel.

I assumed you'd get good replies before now otherwise I would have spoke up before now. Throughout the years I've tried many different processors. Some went under (iBill, PayMonde, Pure Vanilla), many of those went with lots of my money, and some simply never paid me (I will be nice and not mention those). Thus, I have learned to stick with "known" processors (although iBill was known so there is still flaws with my thinking).

I've been using Verotel for about 8 years now. They've always paid me on-time and things have run fairly smoothly. However, they did lock up my account mistakenly several years ago when they eliminated all the "teen" sites. I don't have any "teen" sites, never have, and never promoted or linked to any. Fuckers, let me run into you guys on the street! Took them about 1-2 months to release my account after their mistake and forget trying to call them or getting them to respond to an email. Yet, since then things have been very smooth. You see, it's a love hate relationship (I hate them, they love taking my money!). Joking a little here.

I do like Verotel's control panel. I think it's better than CCbill by far. Can't some of you designers and programmers help CCbill out with their webmaster control panel?

My only complaint now with Verotel is that they haven't made hardly any improvements to things in years and there are many things they can improve upon. I've always thought that they figured they wouldn't be around much longer and thus weren't going to invest money in improvements, but year and year goes by and they are still here while so many other companies disappear. Ok, they did add a new Quick Stats feature several months ago (first improvement in YEARS), but other than that, nothing at all has changed. Well, they did make their user names and passwords "stronger" recently--much needed. I'll give them credit for that, but there are many other things that could and should be improved.

Also, do a search on Google and you'll see many reports from affiliates who claim their affiliate checks bounced. These are old posts, and I'm not sure if it's true or not as non of my affiliates have ever reported that, but that IS a serious issue. ACH is free with Verotel so I don't know why any affiliate would select to get paid by check anyway (unless they are overseas), so maybe these posts are fake.

Regardless, for what YOU are needing, and from my experience researching many payment processors and trying a lot, I think Verotel is best for you. They a far from perfect, but we can't get that in the adult industry and I've learned not to even expect it. And yes, the Ticket Club is what you are wanting.

There is another option.....if you really want ccbill, you can set up an EU company (UK is pretty cheap) and register with ccbill EU.

You pay extra 1.5% but EU businesses don't need to pay the $750 set up.

Go to the ccbill website and click the link for businesses in EU

thought the clumsy ticketsclub interface would scare many users, but looks so far is not the case.

There is no fees to pay at all, and you don't have to register as an EU company.
They process credit cards and also telephone/SMS

Verotel is perfect , they might not be as beautiful as ccbill but they are just as good and offer visa etc.
