The new Yahoo logo
Has anyone seen the new yahoo logo with the dog and the pink ribbon (the logo is also pink)?
I assume it's dedicated to breast cancer research. It happened to just catch my eye. I've noticed Google changing their logo occasionally, but it's the first time I've noticed it on Yahoo. |
im not visiting yahoo but thanks for info, it looks very cute :thumbsup
They change it all the time :)
they've been doing stuff like that at least as far back as 1995.
Hmm, I guess the animated dog putting the pink ribbon on the logo finally made me pay attention to it ;-)
thx for the info

or, just click the logo :) |
I stopped visiting Yahoo since 2002 or so :)

ribbon campaigns are retarded. people in this world are just so fucked in the head. everyone is sooooo caught up in hollow, empty "feel good" symbolism, that they forget to actually do something that matters. support this... support that... support the other thing.... i wish people would waste less time trying to convince me that they care about shit and just quietly get involved in what they care about and do something substantial to make a difference.
the supermarket by my home is another one that is pissing me off. "would you like to donate a $ to breast cancer" - NO... here's an idea you sorry motherfuckers... stop asking me for money to foster this notion that you "care" and actually donate money yourselves or match donations rather than harassing your customers in some sort of ill-conceived, cause-based marketing effort where you're only contribution is to just put every fucking customer on the spot while you do jack shit about it. sorry. |
haven't seen it but I'll check it
i haven't used yahoo in forever, it looks so different now. :) the logo is cute though.

I hate being guilted into donating - it's like the rest of the line is staring you down for saying NO to donating to the children's hospital or some crap like that. How many billions has gone into cancer research? And we still aren't even close yet? Well forget it then... there's no way they are going to get a cure within my lifetime... |

this woman was asking me if i wanted to donate money to breast cancer something or other. my response was "i'm sorry to have confused you - i could understand how at 5'10, 220 pounds and having 3 days of facial hair made you think i have boobs... but actually, i don't" she looks at me disgusted and tells me "we raised $12,000.00 for breast cancer research ......" i said "oh really? how much money do the executives at this company waste on penthouse office suites, strippers, dinners, country club memberships, executive compensation packages and flying private jets around the country while on personal errands you harass me for not saving the world? would you say its more than 12,000.00?" people started laughing, but i was pissed. it bothers me. |
and for those people making remarks about "not finding a cure" - massive strides have been made in cancer research... so much so, that most types of cancer are treatable. there are many types of cancers... its not just about "cancer"'
looks tight ...
hahaha thanks for the info! :D i think that would be just fine! :winkwink:
hmm filtered by IP? I see the same old all over their site
on a side note, did you know that in the USA it is not possible to patent an all natural cure?
so, there could be tons of solutions found right under our noses, but since the solution can't be monopolized on, we might never know |
looks like the same shit
