Glo-bill, Epoch, or Jettis?
I have a friend (that is not imaginary) who runs a very very big paysite that has signups and rebills numbering in the hundreds PER DAY. Right now he uses iBill and just like everyone else here: is not very satisfied.
Which processor would you say it the best to switch to? Globill, Epoch, or Jettis? Can you guys also list each processors high and low points? Which one handles signups and rebills the best? Thanks! |
i'm partial to globill
|
globill
|
everything except fucking IBILL!
|
I've only had experience with Globill in the past. It was a good one though, so I would definetly recommend them.
|
My opinion, worst out of the group.
Epoch(Paycom) they just dunno how to pay webmasters sometime. They were a fucking nightmare for me a few years back. |
I think Jettis is a good choice for your friend, they take your business seriously...:)
|
I've heard really good things about PSWBilling
|
I am partial to epoch, when I have used them with sponsors with multiple processors, I seem to get more signups with them. Globill, I personally don't like, but that is only from using one program using them. Jettis seems to be refund happy, so if you have full month memberships instead of trials, stay away from them, but if you do have trials, they seem to be good :)

How short our memeory is Epoch(Paycom) had some BAD problems if I remember correct in the past (like they could not pay)... The question, I do NOT see ask so often is what do you webmasters (Not paysite owners) prefer.. if you have a partners program...ask the webmasters...who they like... and I bet the 1's you have listed is not number 1...:2 cents:

Go CCBill noone has problems with them and they pay ontime everytime
|
I wouldn't trust anyone but CCBill with my income.
|
AC Pay or CCBill.:)
|
bump! need answers!
|
yeah go with ccbill if your friend wants to piss of an employee of ccbill and get his account shut down and lose all his rebills..
jettis seems cool and globill is kinda strict on some things but seem ok aswell. FUCK CCBILL |
I used to use Ibill and CCbill on my paysites, hate Ibill.. nothing bad to say about ccbill..
Now Im using Jettis/Globill And both seem to be good for now.. |
glo-bill is the best out of the bunch.
as above posts mentioned, jettis is refund happy but has great service. they don't have any dialers tho. i've heard good things about epoch too, never actually tried them. i know they went through some rough times, not sure whether they still owe people money. glo-bill seems to have a cult-like following because of their speed/quality of service. i remember someone (waypay?) mentioning they have like a 98 or 99 % uptime. i'm also digging their fraud scrubbing - i'm getting a .3% chargeback ratio. i've also gotten less declines with globill than anyone else. anyway, that's who im using and who i've been most happy with. |
We use CCBill and did not had any problems, but from your choices I would definately choose Epoch.
|
He used CCBill in the past and had not-so-great results. I think Glo-bill is the best bet as I have used them in the past (not for running sites but as a person promoting a site) and liked them a lot. Acccurate stats and payed on time.
Jettis seems to be a well-oiled machine but the survey says they love to refund. |
ever considered a non turn-key solution? Fuck that 13 to 25% cut. Merchant accounting can be as low as 1.3% + transation fee.
Consider that! |

pick the one with the built-in shaver :)
|
use GLOBILL (u will get more declines) so make sure you have a back up processor ready, sorted.
|
CCBill are solid, have people available on ICQ for emergencies, and have a good record for being on the boards to respond to problems. And they pay promptly every week. :thumbsup

My:2 cents:
We use Epoch as our main processor . Ibill as you all know are all fucked up . Epoch did have a problem 2 years ago which i am told is now corrected? But since we changed to Epoch our conversions have gone up 38%. retention's extended by an average of 30 days, oh and we get paid on time. I must say the only good thing Ibill do is pay on time but if they lose you $$ while using their fucked up scripts and faulty CMI then i guess we are prepared to wait that few extra days. Here's an example of what happened yesterday. 4 of our sites changed to a faster server Epoch responded to our request to change the password file within 20 minutes. Ibill took 22 hours and it took 3 e-mails and 2 phone calls to get them into action. Their reply to my question why did it take so long was well you have to use this form and your account rep gave you the wrong address, oh and anyway we are so big it takes time now that we have grown 100% in the last 6 months. Fuck that, i pays to work with the small guys cause the bigger they are the harder they fall Well that was more like 22 cents worth Thanks for letting me vent guys |

Website Billing - 99.895% Epoch - 99.874% ProBilling - 99.837% GloBill - 99.763% PSW Billing - 99.736% ccBill - 99.536% iBill - 99.308% These stats are over the last 30 days... (and are not scientific :)) You can check the uptime for any of the billers we currently support at http://www.waypay.com/resources/index.asp |
