I just switched my desk set-up and the new position made made arm flare up. Fucking feels like it's on fire sometimes, my doc said there's not much I can do but wear a wrist brace (especially when sleeping), and take Ibuprofen. It's not Carpel Tunnel, but I sure do wish it was numb sometimes instead:(

I had it in the early the late 80s from video games

My strict masturbation schedule and proper wrist swapping techniques have kept my wrists strong and healthy!

Try taking fish oil capsules. It might help.

About 6 years ago I had carpal really bad in my right wrist. So bad in fact that two of my fingers on that hand were going numb, and the pain!

Had to switch my mouse over to the left of the keyboard and train my left hand to get the job done. Try designing new graphics with the wrong hand working for you... but I did it. Kept it over there for nearly 10 months, also bought one of those wrist wrap/tenser bandage things for my right wrist.

After about 10 months I was able to switch it back and have been good to go ever since. Wrist still hurts from time to time (like after a long gaming sesh) but the carpal has never come back like it was.
