Miami Dolphins now officially the crappiest team in the league

No excuses.

TY.

In other news the Bucs are looking goooood. So are the fudgePackers, damn nice win for them.

Lastly, GO NINERS. :D

Mutt 09-30-2007 02:19 PM

a tiny ray of optimism for me today watching Trent Edwards take over the horrid Buffalo Bills and lead them to victory over the equally horrid New York Jets. Miami is a joke.

CDSmith 09-30-2007 02:29 PM

Buffalo did show signs of life today. Unucky for me though that was. :(

And oh how the mighty have fallen... Bears losing to the Lions... wow.

And the damn niners need to step it up. GO NINERSSS

gecko 09-30-2007 03:29 PM

The Jets are up there..

Ramos 09-30-2007 03:33 PM

Culpepper taunting the crowd was great, his knee seems ok. :)

I still don't know why the Dolphins passed up the qb from ND (quinn) in the draft. They needed a qb and knew they weren't going to stay with dante.

Zuzana Designs 09-30-2007 03:34 PM

ummm the beasr are not to far behind ... what a fucked up 4th

Digipimp 09-30-2007 03:47 PM

Go Raiders!!!!!

For whatever reason they decided that John Beck was their guy, so they drafted him in the second round instead. I do like Beck and think he is a lot more accurate than Quinn, and if the Dolphins lose another game or two I wouldn't be surprised if they tossed him in there. Drafting Ted Ginn Jr in the first round, though, still has me scratching my head...

Pacino 09-30-2007 03:59 PM

The Dolphins are my team and yes they BLOW :(

_mC_ 09-30-2007 04:05 PM

Two things that don't work in Florida... Voting stations and the Miami Dolphins.

PATHETIC!!!

Casa Nova 09-30-2007 04:07 PM

Ramos you're right, Culpepper taunting the crowd was great & it's good to see my team (the raiders) finally winning some games!

bushwacker 09-30-2007 04:13 PM

Culpepper sucked in miami and he will suck in oakland, give him few games. He looked o.k. today, and that's only because miami's defense is the worst in the league.

Horny Dude 09-30-2007 04:23 PM

Well Chargers are trying to get that title after the game today!

CDSmith 09-30-2007 06:47 PM

Ha ha McNabb McSacked 4 times in just the first half.

Eagles are damn lucky the score isn't 21-0. Giants need to watch the interceptions though or they'll blow it.

MrKinkade 09-30-2007 07:16 PM

i cannot believe my browns are 2-2 and 2-1 in the league im suprised not bad they can be 3-3 by the break with NE and MIA as our next two teams losing to OAK hurts bad but we were projected to be 3-3 at the break 4-2 would have been great

DateDoc 09-30-2007 07:30 PM

dolphins have always been a let down in the last few decades. When I lived in WPB some of the games were blacked out because not enough ppl bought tickets. LOL!

CDSmith 09-30-2007 07:50 PM

Ouch. McSlabb now sacked 9 times by the Giants.

In other news: they're loving Jeff Garcia in TB with their auspicious 3-1 start to the season.

:D

Chris 09-30-2007 07:52 PM

no one talkin bout the boy???!!
4-0 :-D

Chris 09-30-2007 07:55 PM

but my boys are gonna lose pretty soon tho :(

10/8 @ Buffalo WIN
10/14 NEW ENGLAND LOSE
10/21 MINNESOTA WIN
11/4 @ Philadelphia WIN
11/11 @ NY Giants LOSE
11/18 WASHINGTON WIN
11/22 NY JETS WIN
11/29 GREEN BAY LOSE
12/9 @ Detroit LOSE (due to the weather they are playing in )
12/16 PHILADELPHIA WIN
12/22 @ Carolina WIN
12/30 @ Washington WIN

CDSmith 09-30-2007 08:04 PM

Oh man oh man oh man

up to 11 sacks on McNabb now, and the game isn't even over yet.

Miami may be the crappiest team in the NFL at the moment but the Eagles are definitely the dumbest.

Someone on another board just pointed out that at one point they had more penalty yards than actual yardage. LOL

You think the Cowgirls at home will lose to Green Bay?

I'm very much looking forward to their game against NE. :thumbsup

I have been a fins fan since I was a baby. It is sad to see this. The offense is putting up some points so it is not all that. The defense cannot stop the run at all and looked worn out all day. Ronnie Brown is the only shining star.

It sucks being a Dolphin fan this season.

I grew up in South Florida and have been a Dolphins fan my whole life so I feel your pain. I'm not blaming anything on Trent Green...I just think that if we lose another game or two and fall out of any possible playoff possibility they might just throw Beck in there to see what he can do. He is already 26 since he went on a Mormon mission before college so we can't really afford to let him sit too long.

I'm glad Ronnie Brown is finally starting to play like a top 5 pick, but we have so many needs right now it is going to be a long road back to respectability. Our defense is looking ancient, and our DB's need a complete overhaul (with the exception of Yeremiah Bell before we lost him for the season). Hudson Houck is doing it with smoke and mirrors on our offensive line, but we are still in need of a serious upgrade there. Unfortunately, the regime of Dave Wannstedt and Rick Speilman drafted so poorly, and gave up prime picks in so many poor trades, that we are going to be set back for years...

Yeah I'm stoked about the way Brown is playing, but otherwise the team is pathetic.

At this point they should probably see what they can get for Jason Taylor in a trade (and possibly some other second tier guys like Keith Traylor and LJ Shelton) and let John Beck start at QB for the 2nd half of the year, that way they'll know if they need to take a QB with their 1st overall pick in next years draft :(

Mutt 10-01-2007 01:13 AM

Of all the pro sports the NFL is the worst for a fan of a shitty team. The other sports play so many games, the seasons are almost year round - even when you have a shitty team in baseball, hockey, basketball there's usually a good stretch during the season that gets your hopes up for a playoff run or next year. In the NFL, with only 16 games each game is special and means more and with such a long off season you spend it reading about the draft, mini camps etc and even when your team sucks you are looking so much forward to the fall that you delude yourself into thinking maybe the upcoming season isn't going to be so bad. Then your team starts off 0-3 and *poof* before October rolls around the season is lost and it's a whole friggin 12 months away until next year.

lifelong Buffalo Bills fan - been through way too many shitty eras. 8 years and counting since the last playoff appearance.

NinjaSteve 10-01-2007 01:26 AM

Let's go Miami! Bwahahaha :(

The Dawg 10-01-2007 04:15 AM

I blame the Dolphins owners & management... So cheap & unimaginative. I agree, Ginn looks like ANOTHER wasted draft pick. Sad thing is that old crater face Wayne doesnt want to be a winner, just as long as merchandise and tickets are selling he could care less.

Hurricanes, Marlins, Dolphins & Panthers... Miami is a sad sports town this year AGAIN. :( If Riley doesnt make any decent moves we can add the Heat to the list too.

I guess tonight's game is a forgone conclusion.

...will be the tell on that statement.

If they can win those two games convincingly I'd say there would be no doubt left they are THE contender for the title this year. They look good, but the proof is in winning games.

MetaMan 10-01-2007 11:11 AM

All i have to say about this year is WOW

This is one of those years where so many teams are evenly stacked ANYONE can take it this year.

Look at some of the "upsets" already in just 4 weeks, and how close the divisions are.

it would be crazy if the wildcards were decided all by 8-8 i wouldnt be surprised after seeing how even alot of teams actually are.

They'll have to beat someone other than the worst teams in the league before being able to claim that.

Raider's fans... yeeesh. Such an exuberant bunch. :winkwink:

from what I know Miami Dolphins were a good team ...right ?

The Raiders are a better team than people are willing to admit. They have a shot at the division title.

I can understand why they took Ginn, I just wish it would pay off.

If he could just break one punt or kick return for a TD I'd be happy. So far he seems to be in way over his head.

Empty rhetoric, until such time as they actually put up the wins needed. Over the past couple of years they sunk lower and lower until they were basically the joke team of the league. This year is showing a ray of light for them, but I'm not so quick to jump right in with the cheering section just yet. (I've come to find that Raider nation fans are some of the WORST for taking the least little ray of hopw and making it out to indicate an impending superbowl victory) :D

Upon looking at their schedule, let's see... they lost to Detroit and to Denver. They beat two relatively weak teams in Cleveland and Miam, so the real test is yet to come. The rest of their schedule looks fairly cushy aside from a few games in December. If they can put up enough wins between now and then they'll be doing well.

If I were a Raider fan I would take it one week at a time. If they look good against SD next week and destroy them I'll come back here and post something more positive about them. :winkwink:

The other night they were a train wreck in progress.

11 sacks
dropped balls
forced fumbles
and at one point they actually had more penalty yards than actual yards gained :1orglaugh

Yeah the Eagles baby!! Yeah! :upsidedow

I'm a Kansas City fan.

Beating weak teams, particularly in grandiose fashion, is more than a ray of hope. Its an indicator. Doesn't Oakland play SD soon? Do you still buy that stock? I said before the season started that SD was overrated. I actually pegged Denver to win the division, but seeing Oakland play like they are, I feel good about them.

Did you watch the running back for Oakland? Isn't Vargas the backup? He was mutilating defensive backs. He was running like Earl Cambell. Culpepper was outstanding. Oakland probably has the best defensive coordinator in the game right now, all things considered.

I hope that KC comes through and knocks them out, but right now, I go with Oakland in the West.

The AFC really must suck if the Raiders have a shot at a title.

And the Dolphins sucking is nothing new.
