Arent Canadians like Dumb French people?
Yeah... So like food here cost the same to me yet for you Canadians it's cheaper. In Economics this means America is a perfect investment opportunity. You guys laughing about a dropping US Dollar value are kinda idiots failing to see the advantage Investing within America. So instead of gloating why not do the smart thing and invest? OH yeah... Dumb Canadians. |

YEah... it's pretty rough here in the Philippines as well. Peso to USD conversion used to be 1:57 now it's 1:45 and sinking. :( :( I wouldn't mind if it continues down this path if the vast majority of the population enjoyed lower prices as a result. However, they aren't really feeling any increase in purchasing power due to the strength of the peso.

Re Canadian dollar strengthening: It will probably continue a long time into the future as long as Canadian oil shale/oil sand remains in heavy demand due to the insane global price of oil.

I'm going to go ahead and guess this much----> $0.00 Which is on about par with what your opinion is worth. And it's aboot time we got to do a little smartass gloating, we've certainly had to read enough posts from Americans about how "worthless" our dollar has been compared to the mighty USD for years now. Suck it up and take it with a sense of humor like we've done. Idiot. Cheers. |
the dollar dropping like a stone is not good for the US

Seriously... the Canadian dollar has been good for a number of years now and Canadian markets have performed very well in relation to other western countries - eg.. a 60% return over 5 years in comparison to Japan at 39%, UK at 64%, Germany at 30% and the US at 18% or under 3.5%/year. Canada also has a very bright future and plenty to offer on the world markets - so, it's kinda irrelevant listening to stupid banter from the debt-ridden :1orglaugh |

But it is fun (and sometimes necessary) to put the stupid back in their place from time to time. ...or at least ensure the record is kept straight. :D |
