Epassporte - How long is the hold time curretly?

Loaded $ from ATM card. Get a message that my balance changed as expected. But my online balance does not show the the extra $. My online statement does not show the transaction as pending. My bank online statement does not show the transaction either.

I pay hosting via Epassporte. So now there are $ in limbo.

Never had a problem before. Anyone know what's up or how long I will be on hold? Been on the phone bout 15 minutes so far.

pussyluver 09-28-2007 04:12 PM

Still on hold

uno 09-28-2007 04:14 PM

I thought loading an account should be instant.

After Shock Media 09-28-2007 04:15 PM

Last call 44 min hold. before an answer then another 15 minute hold, then got hung up on.

Reminds me of that damn pissed off squirrel and the indian outsourcer with naps during hold times.

It has been in the past.

pussyluver 09-28-2007 04:22 PM

It is all fucked up now. A bunch of messages were deleted in my Epassorte message center. I will have to change payment method with my hosting company now.

Read the FAQ and listen to the automated phone response.

Looks like I'll be changing the payment methode at a number of sponsors.

Not a happy camper.

After Shock Media 09-28-2007 04:24 PM

Pussyluver there is a big ass red button at epass right now that says do not touch until someone gets back from vacation. Do not touch it no matter how tempting it is.

pussyluver 09-28-2007 04:28 PM

Finally got through. Don't care about vacations, Hosting has to be paid.

pussyluver 09-28-2007 04:32 PM

Guy said the processor is down and my transaction never went through. Says it won't. Now can I take that to the bank? Or will I pay webair from checking and still have Epassporte take the $ out of checking too.

smutnut 09-28-2007 04:33 PM

You have to get on the phone and hold with them a long time, especially if they are having problems like they are right now. They've just straightened out my problems surprisingly fast but this is probably due to the number of times I called and how often I have now and in the past.

Just recently I withdrew to my bank and one of my payments got in there in under 2 days which is amazingly unusual and even more unusual to my benefit for once.

All I can say is, I've dealt with their problems so long and so many times I'm no longer paranoid, but it's a complete pain in the ass when things screw up which is a lot more than it should.

My advice about them is to use them to collect your sponser money and withdraw anything no matter how small into your bank account because they are always having problems. Only use them for that. You can't really depend on them, except I've never been ripped off or screwed yet so I would suspect you'll get everything cleared up but put on a good television show or record and sit on the phone until they answer and call back if they hang up.

He is opening a trouble ticket. He didn't understand when I said go ahead and push the red button.

pussyluver 09-28-2007 04:37 PM

Well epassporte WAS a good idea

After Shock Media 09-28-2007 04:37 PM

How it have anything to do with indian outsourcer? It would be the same if they have hired 1-2 telephone support reps in US or UK. You can find high quality outsourced support teams in India with enough man power to handle the requested number of calls. But its all about $$ you are willing to spend. Isn't it?

Blame ePassporte, not Indian outsourcers.

Got other shit to do. Guess I could do galleries or something while onhold. Or just go back to checks from all sponsors and pay bills with Visa.

I don't think I have ever gotten funds in less than 7 business days.

I was describing the cartoon, not blaming the Indian outsourcer. I am very pro outsourcing.

GatorB 09-28-2007 04:43 PM

Amazingly I widthdrew month from epass to by bank on Wed and Thursday it was in my bank account. Had been taking 7-10 days and never was faster than 2 days before. Not sure if it was a fluke or not.

I have the $ to pay webair no problem. Seemed like doing it out of epassporte was ok. All I have to do is change my profile at webair to Visa. Plus they are so much easier to deal with. Good thing I did this a day ahead of time. Like all things, I'm typically at the last minute....

Contracting for art etc. that I typically pay with epassporte seems to be a problem now. Don't feel like I can leave $ in the account. What a pain in the ass.

DickyDee 09-28-2007 04:52 PM

Guess I've been lucky up until recently

Wow, 7 days waiting for ePassporte fund transfers. Up until last week I have been lucky I guess, always receiving funds immediately through ePassporte and had payments transacted without problems for over 2 years. However, as of this past Monday nothing but chaos when I do transactions, nothing coming in (and I know payments are being sent to my account) and no replies to my emails. I gave up on calling after a 27 minute wait on the first call and 32 minutes on the second. Canadians can't use the toll free line.

I hear you, but not sure why you dealt with them in the first place. I did it and and doing it merely for a reason to collect all my sponser account pay offs. If you're E.F. Hutton of porn and you're dealing with epassporte, you're sort of an idiot - nothing personel
