Aussie ALF - NRL Football Grand Final
 

Would any Australians or anyone else for that matter that is following the aussie football like to throw there hat in for who will win the ALF or NRL football grand final this weekend?

AFL (Australian Football League) = Geelong Vs Port Adelaide

NRL (National Rugby League) = Melbourne Storm Vs Manly Sea Eagles

Both codes will be close games.

Mate I have been living here in Czech for 14 years now so nope I can't watch it...but I can hear it live on internet radio.

I think it's a really tough one on the NRL, Storm are really good there back line with Slater and King are kick ass. But I think Manly are going to do it, The way they have re-built this club over the last few years basically from scratch is awesome.

As much as i'd love Geelong to win, I think Port will have it. They are just too good.

I think you might be right there mate, he has been playing great this season as have Watmough and Orford.

Like you said though will be a fucking close game.

I am spewing I am going to miss it, I am going to fire up the DVD recorder and watch it when I get home though.

Thank goodness for the dvd recorder, reckon there will be a few people using them this weekend.

Having said that, I guess Geelong will win the AFL this year :(

In the AFL I am an "ABC" supporter (ABC = ANYONE but Collingwood), but the Cats have had a long drought, so I'm for Geelong.

In the NRL, Melbourne SHOULD win, but they'll choke, as they do in big games, and Manly will take the prize.
