If your eyes hurt from looking at the computer monitor for hours this will help....

Looking at a monitor for extended periods of time strains the focusing muscle in your eye. Your eyes will also dry out very quickly, especially if you wear contacts. Use a timer like this one: click here to remind you to look away from the computer and re-focus your eyes. I set it for every 15min if I'm doing 5+ hours straight on the computer or if I'm editing video. I sometimes go 2+ minutes without blinking when editing. A brief walk out of the room also helps. You will be amazed how much better you feel after trying this for a full day.

Looking at porn makes you go blind anyway...

Really good idea. My eyes are basically dead at the end of the day.

I use WorkRave to remind me to get up and stretch every now and then to prevent RSI and neck pains.

Nice....McAfee gives warnings when you plug the power cord in :) I dumped them long ago.

I grabbed this from Download.com and have never had a problem there. If you don't trust it, just grab one from somewhere else.

The idea here is to help your eyes. I tend to work for 10+ hours straight usually editing video and eventually I have to stop because my eyes are burning. A simple timer like this will help remind you to take a break or look away.

Definitely a good tool - just wondering why McA is doing that. You have it installed right? Does it have adware by chance? If it does, that must be it.

I use rsiguard to force breaks, it's mainly for the wrists but since I've never had eyestrain I guess it works for the eyes too. http://rsiguard.com
