Ever drink Moonshine?
 

I have had some homemade real moonshine but I found some at the ABC store called Junior Johnson's Midnight Moon and thought I would give it a try. Has anyone had it?

Nope, haven't ever had any real moonshine....but I have drank some shit called Pot Cheen or some shit from Ireland...some kind of potato vodka or hard liquor of some sort...I'm sure it tased similar to some backwoods moonshine though. Nasty shit.:Oh crap

Haha yeah we used to drink that from we were 14 till we were 18-19
Been years since I have tasted it now. But it basically tastes awful. It can get quite pure though, around 90% alcohol.

Where I come from, you mix it with coffee, roughly half and half, and it makes you into a real man. I shudder just thinking about it now.

And thats pretty much my first experience with alcohol, before I passed out in my own vomit 2 hours later.

I had moon shine in South Carolina and Absinth in Japan, the Absinth is stronger

Hey there. I didn't see that Stodghill post before. Just so you guys know this 'Jennings' is David Stodghill. I am not in jail, I'm sitting right here next to TA as usual. Actually David is going to be the one going to jail. He has a court date here in Greensboro, NC for October 12th at 8:30am. This will be the first of many court dates for David. Do you think he's gonna show? I'll be sure to keep you guys posted on what happens.

I've never tried moonshine but I have met Junior Johnson :winkwink:

For those that don't know, Junior Johnson was a real bootlegger back in the days of running moonshine and took his uncanny ability of out running the cops and turned it into a very successful NASCAR career. He's a true good old boy and a one of a kind character that's legendary in the NASCAR community.

i try and stay away from the clear stuff.. I have had 'everclear', which is sold at some liqour stores here in the vaaaaalley. I think ill stick with my IPA's :D

Ya I've had real home made moonshine and some hard cider shit back in the day. That's usually around small town, country areas. That's where I was.

When I stayed in a little village in Mexico, the local moonshine was called raicilla and holy cow that stuff is strong. It gets your head rolling within ten minutes of a shot or two.

I have a friend who makes it, he's not the best so it's real hit or miss, but every now and then he puts something amazing together.

One batch was called "skull splitter 2000", ha ha, it was the goods.

Had some when I was stationed in Alabama years ago. Mucho powerful shit.
