TGP owners NEED to change submission scripts!
 

I'm submitting some movie galleries to some TGPs that I normally don't submit to. They have these old submission script or they haven't updated them.

Here's the dilema: Let's say one pf their rules is... A min. of 12 pics/3 movies. Then when you fill in the amount you have on your gallery in the # field & let's say I put 5 (movies), the script won't accept my submission cuz it says that I don't have at least 12. What a waste of fucking time! :mad:

Now obviously, the bigger, established TGPs know what they're doing & are on top of their game...but all you small to medium guys need to get w/ the program. If no one was submitting to you, you wouldn't have anything to offer your surfers. You wash our backs, we wash yours. Get up to date....

What if they don't want your submissions?

I am not sure The Leader will be pleased to see someone else attempt to dictate policy.

What if you haven't scrubbed hard enough or used the wrong soap when you washed their backs? Worse still - what if you scrubgbed too hard and their backs are red and sore!

You've gotta consider these things!!!

That's fine...they don't have to take 'em. I was just suggesting an update. Simple as that.

Ya know Steve, any reply I see from you are always these peanut gallery remarks. You'd think w/ that big head on your shoulders you'd have much more wittier things to say.

Hey, you try typing with your head laying on the desk top. My arms get too sore if I try to prop this huge melon up long enough to get the blood flowing properly.

And if I told you I think movie galleries should be submitted to movieposts for best results, would that make you feel better? Making the small clips for TGP sites is extra work - that market is the high speed connection people, and I think they like the longer clips much better than those 10 second ones.

That must suck.

But, yes...I do submit to movie posts all the time...a little extra traffic never hurt anybody.

I don't really care about movie galleries on my TGP. If I wanted movie galleries, I'd run a MGP.

BUT I will tell you a trick around most scripts. While they do check to see if you have a recip, a lot of scripts don't actually count the number of pictures/movies you have. You can just fill in the number on the form as 12 when you really have 3 and many forms will accept it.

Thanks, FATPad. I would tip my hat to you, sir, but they don't make one my size. And I can't find a long enough tape measure to get an accurate measurement.

AND....with a hat that big you'd really have problems keepin' your head up!
