why is icq fucked up?

It seems that they keep getting worse and worse.

My entire contact list shows that everybody is offline, 'cept that they are all online.

Why not switch to Gtalk? It have offline msgs, built-in email system .. and above all it saves chat history on web .. so you dont loose it after reinstall?

I'm having the same problems too :( I'm sticking to emails as mode of communication now.

It's sucked for some time now. The fact AOL has it's fingers on it should be the first warning.

ICQ is fucked up because it's always fucked up and it will be always fucked up and that's pretty fucked up :)

im not having any problem from my icq now a days. but im also using gtalk and skype.

ICQ sucks these days, it was very unstable lately :(
