Um You can die from Anesthesia. I have played those odds to many times.

Been under General type 8 or more times and local lost count around 21.
Way to many surguries. Either way its dangerous in itself.

Check the odds. Its not about you can die in... Cause thats everywhere. It is just how often can you die doing something. Worse yet is how fucked up people get when they are coded and brought back, something hollywood often doesnt go into.

i had two general anhestesias in my life

i was planned for a third one last year for sinus surgery but ultimnately i didnt have done it

yes, i was afraid of the risk of not waking up, but i am a paranoic person and im well aware of that

id assume the risk of dying from anhestesia is really minimal and it shouldn't be a real concern

yes, i checked odds on wikipedia or so in the past and they were quite small

I may be miss informed though a few anesthesiologists have told me with each time it is done your risk goes higher. No idea if true or not but then again I rarely do not believe them where as I will second guess a doctor often.

My grandmother died because of anesthesia. She just never woke up.

I've been under general anesthesia twice for two surgeries and have had local around 5 times, not counting dental procedures.
