Is It OK to Call a Whore a "Whore"?
 

I just posted a topic on Genesis' magazine's top 100 Porn Stars, and I referred to them as Porn "Whores" instead of Porn Stars.

Someone called this disrespect.

I'm around these girls a whole lot of the time and they refer to themselves as whores.

And sluts.

Not once does it mention the term as being derogatory.

I dunno. It's late, and I'm tired, and I just drove home from LA, where I just got done working with lotsa whores and sluts, and I love and respect almost all of them.

I have run successful websites for almost 10 years with almost every type of content you could image.

I can't recall ever having any "bitches, sluts or whores" on any of my sites.

I do have some people's wives, daughters and mothers though .. ;)

To answer the question -- calling porn sluts 'whores' is one of those politically correct things like calling black folks 'african americans' or whatever. Or is is like the n-word where it's okay if rappers say it but other people can't. I forget.

I don't see how a pornstar can think of herself as not being a whore unless she is signed to somebody like Vivid and doesn't have to do 10 scenes a week. But at the same time I don't think it's right to call them that in public or in a publication they might read. They deserve to be treated like human beings. And when you think of it male pornstars could be called whores and so could any porn addicted pervert because he is dreaming of doing the same thing.

The term Porn Star is thrown around to easily these days. Some slut who gets paid to bein a movie is not a porn star.
