Zeppelin or Floyd?
 

Okay. Today I'm expanding my mind. Im going to check out two movies that I've always thought "I ain't gonna watch that hippie skid shit". It's time I gave up being ignorant and actually tried to see what other people like about these films.

I've not yet seen Pink Floyd's The Wall or the other one that film people say is trippy "The Song Remains the Same" (Zeppelin right?)

What should I see FIRST and why?!?

i have seen both. Watch the LZ movie first,it's not a movie in reality,just a live concert with few scenes with the LZ crew off the stage. P.Floyd should be the last thing,a real experience ;-)

Gosh that's difficult cause their both good. Why don't you do Zeppelin first then get to the climactic state with Floyd. That's my decision and I'm stickin to it

I have both of those movies on DVD.

I personally think The Wall is a better movie, but I like Zeppelin's music more (Floyd is probably my second favorite) :stoned

Go for both. Watch LZ while drinking & watch PF while stoned :Graucho

The Song remains the same from Zeppelin is great for getting stoned and grooving to, Floyd is a trip out flick, great for rainy sundays...

Either way, both movies are best viewed VERY late at night.

Zeppelin is the better band, The Wall is the better movie

although once you get as good as these bands are, I don't know that it's a matter of one being 'better' than the other, as much as it is what mood you're in.

Put my back to the wall though and I'm going with Zeppelin over ANY band as far as sheer musical power... they're like the Beatles without the playfulness.

Id watch zepplin first while your getting high and then once your stone watch the wall and these guys are right better at night time. If your not getting high for pink floyd then drop a tab or two either way makes for a good movie.:thumbsup

The music of Pink Floyd is one of the greatest things on earth.... but PLEASE dont make me sit through "The Wall" again. :(

Oooh. Tough choice. I guess that'd depend what kinda mood you're in. Both great rock bands! :thumbsup

fuck "The Song Remains The Same", it is actually a crappy Zep show - I've heard way better bootlegs. Try to find Pink Floyd "Live At Pompii" - that was fucking cool!
