Blog Newbie Question
 

So this whole time i been submitting galleries with chamelon and I'm pretty much comfortable with it. Now I want to start blogging. How many post is good for the initial launch? Thanks.

I add 7 posts at first so I can start swapping links and submitting to directories straight away

You are going to have to change your mind set if you are going from galleries to blogs...don't let not getting massive amounts of traffic put you off..Think long term gain rather than quick fix.

I personally will start with an aged domain if at all possible.
I will then add in about 10 past posts at least, I often go well beyond that and do at least thirty.
I then start adding a post a day (pre write and have it auto post).
Then I begin to seek out trades and directories.

I also believe in organic writing and not using what the sponsors give you as blog material.

Oh and when I park and age my domains I often will have a few pages of keyword related text on them while they are sitting in cyberspace aging and awaiting my line up. Often they look like essays or stories. This sometimes gets them a PR rank before I even start a blog on them. Helps in the trading phase.

I also have a few higher PR sites that have minimal outgoing links. I typically use one of them to point to a new blog to get the spiders attention.
