After 10 years, we finally have a playable beta of the Team Fortress sequel!

I like it so far, though its taking a while to get used to.

I know there are some old QWTF players and TFC players on here.. Someone get a GFY server running:)

it sucks that they removed the grenades and made spies overpowered like whoa :/

i'm definitely gonna try this game out.. Crysis is another cool looking game too.

hot damn, i can take a break from counterstrike - find a server with the "gungame" mod, its fun as hell.

The no grenades thing initially pissed me off, but after playing, I havnt really missed them that much.

Spies arent too bad, but they can get annoying. They are at least finally viable. Scouts are pretty bad... two hits with the bat, and your dead.

Sentries are a bitch to kill with out grenades. :mad:

wish I had time to play games as much as some of you all do

bejeweled on my treo is about as "gamey" as I get

thats pretty cool. I'll have to see if it will even run on my pc.

If your machine can handle half life 2 or counter-strike: source it should be able to handle tf2 just fine. It has pretty modest system requirements.

how do you get to play the beta?

You have to pre-order the Orange Box/HL2: Episode 2 through steam. Then you can download the tf2 beta, under the "My Games" tab.

new TF2 working well with HL2?
