sounds like guy who jumpd a girl.. stole her phone then took a pic and sent it to the girls contact list. cops found him cause he was known petty criminal in the area where she got assaulted

Reminds me of that sidekick that was stolen about a year ago...they had these people redhanded because they used the data network, news got out, and the interweb police ransacked the thiefs myspace acct.
