Random mouse loss on program startup... happen to anyone else?

Every once in a while my mouse will disappear when I open a program. It's random. It sometimes happens when I open Firefox, and other times it happens when I open dreamweaver, or vegas.

The mouse icon freezes, but I can still see mouseovers highlighting, so I work the now invisible mouse down to the lower left corner to shut down and restart. After a few restarts it seems to be fine. But it takes like 3 - 5 restarts before I can actually open a program.

Any ideas how to fix it? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Never heard/seen anything like that before.

Did you check for viruses???

checked, and oddly enough. my shit always seems to run a little slower after running adaware.

Drop adaware and get Webroot spy sweeper..spyware is such a epidemic,it pays to get a decent prevention program
