FSC Gets Members Discounts on 2257 Record-keeping Software

FREE SPEECH COALITION and ZEI Pty Ltd JOIN FORCES TO PROVIDE DISCOUNTS ON ZEI2257 RECORD-KEEPING SOFTWARE
Canoga Park, CA ? Following months of negotiation and research, FSC announces a new ?value added? benefit in support of its members.

ZEI Pty Ltd will offer a substantial discount on its licensing fees to new customers of ZEI2257who are current or new FSC members on both its Standard and Enterprise versions of its 2257 record-keeping software, effective immediately. For more information, FSC members may contact FSC at 1-818-348-9373, or visit the ZEI2257 website at www.zei2257.com.

ZEI Pty Ltd already enjoys the patronage and testimonials of many recognized leaders in the adult entertainment industry, and has submitted its software to strict legal review, scrutiny and feedback before making this product available. FSC has entered into this non-exclusive arrangement as one way of helping its members maintain accurate 2257 records in as easy and cost-effective a means possible within the current reality that is facing the industry. FSC has pledged that it will continue to engage in litigation in response to the 2257 proposed rules and regulations until a more satisfactory resolution to industry concerns has been achieved.

?FSC appreciates the generosity ZEI Pty Ltd is demonstrating to our members by providing them with a cost-effective means of meeting onerous 2257 record-keeping obligations until such time as 2257 regulations can be changed,? said Scott L. Lowther, FSC?s Director of Membership. ?We don?t agree with the DOJ?s recently-released, proposed rules and regulations, but we recognize that our members must comply with the law until it is modified. Let?s face it ? FSC exists to protect and support its members and the industry. Litigation is one way as a means of last resort. Providing tools to help member businesses comply with legislation, especially burdensome laws like 2257, is another.?

DJ Batts,of ZEI Pty Ltd, had this to say: ?We wholeheartedly support FSC in its leadership role in battling 2257 legislation on behalf of its members. FSC is taking the U.S. Government to task, much as David would fight Goliath, and is making important strides in that regard. In the meantime, the industry has a need for excellent record-keeping software that helps both small and large adult businesses keep the necessary documents, in accordance with current guidelines. Our product, ZEI2257, meets that need, and we offer this discount to FSC members as our way of supporting FSC?s members and FSC itself as they continue the good fight.?

This is yet another pathetic effort, and I hope to fucking hell the FSC received a HUGE chunk of cash for sending out this infomercial.

Applications like this aren't exactly rocket science, and any idiot with the most basic of programming skills could write the damn thing.

Here's a hint FSC, if you want to do something good, PAY SOME FUCKING PROGRAMMERS TO DESIGN SOFTWARE AND MAKE IT FREE TO YOUR MEMBERS.

Don't send out infomercials announcing your members get some crappy discount on a piece of bloatware.

          Cripe.

Now I see why the FSC was fighting for this kind of record keeping. This organization is truly a joke now.

and this is an accomplishment the FSC crows about?

                what a fucking joke.

what do you wanna bet they get the money you save?

This software costs more than photoshop and dreamweaver combined, can you say price gouging?

The FSC needs to take a long hard look at itself.

this thread is total trash, anyone buying that software is a fool. the FSC thus far has proven them selfs to be quite impotent from my vantage point but maybe i am wrong on that take.

I don't know if anyone ever claimed that ZEI2257 was the perfect solution for every webmaster....and I know there are a lot of people here who have a hard-on for the FSC. I'm not so thrilled with the FSC either.

Nevertheless, I'm pretty much a one-man band and I've been using ZEI2257 for the last two years - and getting a deal on ZEI2257 is not a bad thing. The program happens to be awesome - and DJ is about the most accomodating, helpful and kick-ass programmer I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Whenever I've needed him (especially when I was getting the hang of the program), he's been right there on ICQ with an answer - and more often than not, a custom solution even though I'm just a small-time webmaster.
And I don't think ZEI2257 would have clients like Hustler, Naughty America, Danni.com and lots of other big names - if it was a piece of "bloatware."

I don't know how the FSC discount thing came about, whether it was DJ's initiative or the FSC's - and I don't know if they're using it for PR value or not.
I just know that ZEI2257 is a sensational 2257 solution and the shots at it, and at DJ, are wrong and unfair.

I purchased a reasonably priced stand alone pc software solution at 2257ware.com a couple of years ago that works pretty well for me. I haven't tried the enterprise edition that allows one to batch import all the data on your servers yet though.
