Somebody fill me in. Is this quite close to what is possibly happening herein:
P1mpdogg creates what appears to be a cam site which is possibly fed off of another cam network and offers someone a "partnership of a lifetime" deal. PornMogul falls for it, agreeing he would promote the website and the affiliate program to help it take off and possibly get 15+ sign ups a day. PornMogul gets 49% of net income, doesn't own the domain, doesn't own the script, doesn't own nothing.
If PornMogul succeeds and makes the program profit, but P1mpdogg has a bad day few months down the road, PornMogul could be simply "let go" (or redirect it to epiccash or whatever) and all he strived for, all traffic to the website and affiliate sign ups he brought in will all go in vain - cause he simply doesn't own the domain and has no control over it.
Question - wouldn't PornMogul be better off contacting streamate himself, have a similar site built feeding off of them, put it under a domain name he owns himself and nourish this site instead, thus doing exactly the same thing as in partnership with P1mpdogg only this time around keeping 100% of net profit for himself and having full control over the future of the site?
Is this what is possibly happening here or am I way off the mark?
PS - I'm just thinking aloud is all :)
