How to get whitelisted? (for newsletters/notifications)
Anyone knows how to get whilited so the emails dont end up in junk? I need to send my members notifications/newsletters but some of the emails end up in junk. Anyone can help?

1. Don't send from system running as "nobody"
2. URL's probably have something to do with it on some sites 3. Prolly best not to send HTML email on some systems. Give them option. 4. Keywords in title can probably help get you to junkbin. |
2. have to use url for notifications :(
3. using html, but can change that |
anyone else have any ideas?

Depends on the server plus the domain name. Try a different one.
For example, if you're sending email from [email protected], try sending it from [email protected] or something like that. Also, it would be good if you ask your host about this. Your IP could be marked. Just a few ideas. |
I think some hosts have an option for that. Try to ask them.

For the ultimate delivery the easiest way is to go thru a company that is bonded and has agreements with the major email companies...:pimp

Goodmail.com is a good place to start.
