Who wants to go to the Macau Grand Prix ? ? ?

www.macau.grandprix.gov.mo

This is a very important race in MotorSports... a win at Macau can guarantee the driver a place in a top Formula 3000 team or, in the case of exceptional talent, an immediate invitation to move in to the pinnacle of motor racing, Formula 1.

49 Years of the Macau Grand Prix

I got my flight today ... I am booking my hotel this week... so let me know if anyone is also attending.

Is there any connection between the Macau Grandprix and the Shanghai Grand Prix ?

Does anyone know ?

I highly recommend it... even if you are not a big gambler.... having been a Portuguese colony for over 100 years Macao has some interesting things to see and do other than the casino's.

I went by the Veneitan the last time I was there..... I think they should move Internext there instead.... is'nt everyone already tired of Vegas ? ? ?

Macao is F3 and Shanghai is F1

Formula Three: It is widely accepted as the first solid step on the road to Formula One. While a few drivers have gone on to drive in open-wheeled motorsports premier category since the inception of Formula Three without driving one, the majority have spent time in the cockpit of these cheap, fast, entry-level race cars.

Macao is also cool cause they also race Motorcycles over the weekend.

Good idea.... if you consider yourself an Asian traveler.... Macao should definitlty be stamped in your passport !

But just so you know ... the prices are not like the rest of Asia. :winkwink:

You don't need a Chineese Visa to enter Macao ( well most countries don't ).

It is a SAR of China.

jscott 09-24-2007 12:18 AM

I'd like to go, checking into the possibilities asap :thumbsup
