Flying to NYC
 

Staying by Time Square. What airport do I fly into?

newark tends to be cheaper and its pretty close.

LaGuardia, closest airport (including newark)

LaGuardia is closer i think

Newark is always my choice if possible. The train from there is the fastest way into the city from any of the airports.

Southwest doesn't fly there . . guess I should have mentioned that. Must be SWA friendly

If you followed that you would be stuck in traffic for an hour trying to get to Manhattan from JFK or Laguardia.

yo, newark airport then hope on the shuttle to pen station from there take the path train to 33rd street manhattan and your there whole trip from airport to NYC times square should take an hour or less depending on time you arrive

Well of course it depends what time you are driving..

A hour ? When I lived in Manhattan and went to go see my folks in ATL. It took me as long to get from JFK to Manhattan as it took from atl to jfk. lol

Laguardia. Cabs are faster into Manhattan from there.

Limo service (sedans) cost a little less than cabs now a days so you can reserve one beforehand if you like and have a guy holding up a sign that says Bad Dog in baggage claim for you. (I dare you to do that! hahaha)


JFK is a last resort.

Looks like Laguardia it is. You don't even have to double dog dare me on the sign . . . I will get pics.

Sounds like a plan. It will be our first time there, so want to see a little before Adtech begins.

When we figure out a date in stone I will let you know. Will be November 4 or 5. Working on room, which seems to disappear faster than a Twinkie around headless.

yup LGA and take the "Carey" bus downtown, its cheap and gets you there as fast as any cab :thumbsup

adtech will be great

I have been to Adtech in San Francisco and Chicago on numerous occasions, but never done NYC. I have heard it is a great show. I am looking forward to it.
