Why AL Gore will be the next President of the USA

Did you hear about the Live Earth concert this summer? Who was the face of it? The world's good ole buddy Al Gore. A Democrat will 100% for sure win this election. Just like they completely killed in the primarys. Who are the potential canidates right now, Hillary clinton and obama. The usa isnt ready for for a woman president or a black president.

AL Gore is the best choice and would easily win in a landslide. He would choose hillary clinton as his running mate for obvious reasons and it would be an unbeatable ticket. How much campaign financing would they get? Bill clinton knows so many world leaders and influential people in this world. They would all donate to the ticket because they know his wife and vp al gore will have good relations with them because its been proven during the clinton presidency.

Not only all this but all gore is also the head of global warming and everyone is for global warming and thats just +1 more for him. :thumbsup

You're crazy, Tipper would be a nightmare 1st lady:2 cents:

GatorB 09-20-2007 04:33 PM

I'm sure it's to late for him to jump into. The filing deadline for most primaries is getting close so unless he's been doing a lot of shit in secret he's not running.

PornMogul 09-20-2007 04:36 PM

He will be in at the last minute! I mean fred thompson JUST joined.

Linkster 09-20-2007 04:48 PM

I saw some polls recently in the primary states where even if he waited to the last minute to file - he would stomp all of the other candidates - there are a lot of people out there that like him

He is being very purposely cagey about it by making sure that corrections are posted in stories where the author says he will not run - he corrects it by saying his "intention" is to not run - similar to Craigs "intention" to resign :)

Mr Steele 09-20-2007 04:52 PM

So did Alan Keyes, fuckin joke, but I'd be willing to bet that Al Gore doesn't run, and think of the amount of conservatives who would come out in droves to vote anyone in so they wouldn't have another Clinton/Gore WH

PornMogul 09-20-2007 04:53 PM

Think of the amount of americans who would vote them in.

Me, too.

I'm still hoping John Edwards can step it up. None of the Republican front-runners excite me at all.

I think Al Gore would get the popular vote in a Presidential election - but he's already done that once before in his life, and it didn't work out so well the last time. /2c

He's also seemed sincere every time I've heard him say he's not running.

The GOP really did a great hatchet job on Gore. A shame, too. He at least understands the real issues and I do think that he is the best choice for energy independence. I think his zeal for solving global warming would result in, even if unintended, a massive switch to clean power technologies like solar, wind and nuclear, which would help to dethrone the oil companies and ensure that the economy is not tied to oil so much.

I cannot stand Obama, and Hillary supports mandatory seatbelts, so fuck her too. Though with Hillary, she would put the country on the right track again (we had cheap gas and plenty of jobs, which means more people buying porn and other indulgences) even if she did not know how to do it, I do think she would drawn upon Bill and that would help.

Hillary and Gore are my top picks in equal proportion. Despite being a Libertarian, I will be voting Democratic this year. There is no way in hell that the GOP is gonna get another vote out of me.

uno 09-23-2007 06:21 PM

Al Gore will NOT be the next pres. Sorry.

Gore would sweep it should he run at the last minute. With Hillary as a running mate... oh man, shoe in.

no she didnt :
The main goals of the PMRC were to inform parents about the music their youngsters were exposed to through radio broadcasts, in record stores, or at concerts, and to request the record industry for voluntary restraint with regard to explicit and obscene music. The PMRC specifically proposed a rating system, similar to the movie ratings system used by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), and requested that specific warning labels be placed on album covers (Coletti 1987:424-425)
http://www.cas.sc.edu/socy/faculty/deflem/zzcens97.htm

if you had little kids I dont think ratings on records was a bad thing.

Matt 26z 09-23-2007 08:11 PM

The fact is that if Hillary had jumped in at the last minute in 2004, she would be president right now. America wanted a new president. Kerry fucking blew it.

America is very pro-Democrat right now. The Democrats have an all-star list of candidates to choose from for 2008, while the Repukes have star power only in a television actor. Unless Newt Gingrich runs, this thing has already been decided.

And for the record I think he will run.

Newt Gingrich / Mit Romney
vs.
Al Gore / Hillary Clinton

Newt is a very smart man but his personal life is too much of a mess. Divorced his wife on her deathbed.
The problem with democrats is they have to grow a set of fucking balls. When that swift boat bullshit came out John Kerry should fought it very hard and adding everytime I fought for my country didnt hide in AL like George Bush.

They say we are losing the war , no the republicans are losing this war. That's what Karl Rove would have them saying if he worked for their side.

Again the dems dont fight for themselves, its like they think they are above the bullshit and they are not. The avg person believes the crap. Al Gore was very important to the creation of the internet. He was on the committee that gave the money for it. From the Washington post:

Vinton G. Cerf, a senior vice president at MCI Worldcom and the person most often called "the father of the Internet" for his part in designing the network's common computer language, said in an e-mail interview yesterday, "I think it is very fair to say that the Internet would not be where it is in the United States without the strong support given to it and related research areas by the vice president in his current role and in his earlier role as senator."

We all owe Al Gore.

Mr Steele 09-23-2007 09:05 PM

I know i may get bashed a bit by some of the resident neo-cons here, but I'd fuckin love to see Ron Paul get the nod...he was the ONLY politician to stand up and defend the right to unfiltered internet and the rights of pornographers at the Value Voters Debate (hard-core x-tians).. and i think he's the only guy in the GOP who could actually pull over Democrats and Undecided to their party and ensure a WH victory... Ron would dominate a debate 1 on 1 vs either Hillary or Al Gore:2 cents:

I just pray to God that it's not Julie, Fred, Mitt or Hillary who goes all the way..:(

Sample Question from VVDebate:

Vision America, Dr. Rick Scarborough ? PORN

My name is Rick Scarborough, president of Vision America. In the Bush administration, the U.S. Department of Justice is enforcing obscenity laws only against those who distribute the most extreme hardcore pornography and only against small companies. This is despite the fact that illegal hardcore pornography is now so pervasive that it's found even in mainstream companies such as Marriott Hotels, Comcast and Verizon.

Will you agree to prosecute the broad range of illegal adult pornography rather that just the most extreme material, and prosecute all violators of federal obscenity law, including the new, so-called "white collar pornographers"?

ONLY Ron Paul said NO, and these were HARD-CORE Jesus freaks, and he still wouldn't pander to them

He's got more than some of the supposed "top-tier" candidates, and the grassroots support he has is growing daily... Packing 1500+ paying people at a time to come see him, while guys like Julie get big press when they bring in 200+

Which other candidates have supporters so damn passionate too?

Anybody but who we have now is great :) Im gonna party like its 1999 the second hes history

Mr Steele 09-23-2007 11:24 PM

Taken from another board, but I think it fits well here too, following up on my comments about how i think only Ron Paul could really unite both parties and secure a legit GOP win, with a great candidate..Dems should take a better look at this guy IMO:2 cents:...

To Republicans : you already know we Ron Paul supporters are a threat. We will vote 3rd party just to cost you an election. You already lost Congress (don't get me wrong, they've not done shit, but you know you hate it!) You decide whether you want to lose another branch of government to the liberals. IF you play fair. DEAL WITH US.

To Democrats : I know, you've cried two stolen elections already. I'll pat you on the back now. Realistically, the Republicans are losing for simply the war issue alone (bad news, the Democratic President won't do shit, but if you feel better, fine). You have to think now (even after Bush announced Clinton will win), IF the Republicans play dirty again, can you afford to lose to Romney, McCain, Giuliani, Thompson? Or if middle American rednecks are too bigoted to see a female or black President, can you afford to lose their votes?(mind you, they can be more than the black votes & Hispanic votes combined)

LOUD AND CLEAR NOW, WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE. BUT WE CAN COST YOU AN ELECTION. YOU DECIDE WHO YOU'D RATHER LOSE TO, OBAMA, CLINTON, MCCAIN, THOMPSON, ROMNEY, GIUILIANI.

Dr. Ron Paul is still a choice, you decide. We've already suffered the mess all you fuckers put us through, we'll suffer together as a united nation under God, we can, can you?!

Yeah, but in this day and age, we cannot have little things like the truth getting in the way of good punch lines and such. The GOP spun that around and used it to distract everyone from the real issues. Just like they did with gay marriage and just like they are trying to do with illegal immigration this time (though, that is a real issue, but they are using it to try and take our minds off others real issues, some more important).
