The economy is great and we're winning the war!

I wonder if the next president is going to BLAST Bush out the ass during his/her first appearance on TV or just play it off?

If I won I'd say "President Bush is a liar, and everything he did for 8 years was a HUGE fucking lie. Now I have to fix his shit."

Anyway, just curious how that will be played out.

Silvercash Tess 09-20-2007 11:33 AM

Hopefully the next president is Ron Paul.

Big_Red 09-20-2007 11:34 AM

keep hoping........

ne0 09-20-2007 11:39 AM

Even not being an american, I believe that the next president will fight a huge crisis and probably people will bitch at him forgetting that it was all caused on the bush administration.
I really doubt the country can be fixed just like that.
It took more than one mandate to get to this point.

Amputate Your Head 09-20-2007 11:39 AM

all these politicians are fucked. Maybe it's time we switch to a Kingdom instead.

Is there any ill of our society that President Bush cannot be blamed for, no matter how trivial or tangential to his influence?

uno 09-20-2007 12:04 PM

Presidents don't go in talking shit about one another. It's respect for the office.

Since the president, his party and his policies are responsible for most of it, not really.

I'm surprised the republicans don't have an affiliate program.

kowalsky 09-20-2007 01:31 PM

If the next president wants to say something like that, should be a politician who didn´t aprove, for example, Irak invation... I don´t that´s possible..

Now... get your flag out, wave it while placing your hand on your chest and repeat after me:

"Bush has a 70% approval rating and is respected by eveyone."

"The US legislature has 90% approval of the electorate."

"Bush is a master of fiscal restraint and responsible for the currently strong US economy."

"The war in Iraq is about WMD and these are buried in rivers and were shipped out to Iran and Sudan."

"I am an ignorant member of the brown shirts with an obsession about my extremist fuhrer and have the dumb mentality of a propaganda-marinated communist."

Why don't you join a few other ineffective, corrupt and extremist orgs other than what is known as the "Republican Party" - try the KKK or the American Nazi Party - they are full of fellow humans with the same level of ignorance. I'm sure you'll feel at home :thumbsup

The apathy and laziness of our citizens who have no fucking clue what really goes on in the world muchless our own country. I would say that is the #1 problem we face, not Bush, although he is a result.

Mr Steele 09-20-2007 02:06 PM

Bush now thinks that he knows more about the Economy than Alan Greenspan....holy shit

Even Greenspan is sounding like Ron Paul now too, "Republicans have lost their way" etc

I'd love to see Ron & Alan debate, especially now that Alan retired from the FED, probably be able to open up a bit more on the reality of the shit goin on than before.

Violetta 09-20-2007 02:07 PM

he's an UGLY liar is what I would say! lol

Sounds about right aico if you look at the percentage turnout at elections and the ease potential candidates can be thrust up front, based on little or no qualification to actually manage a country, but based on their "beliefs" and trivia like abortion issues. It's two levels up from the Britney Spears Fanclub.

Even when an existing leader has demonstrated a level of inept conduct - he can even get elected for a second term. Sure is seriously sad and unhealthy for any nation.

Seriously, any country is the same as a corp, tho on a bigger scale. If "USA Inc" was a corp - the Chairman and Board of Directors would be thrown out on the street years ago. They have nothing to offer the shareholders - only masses of problems for decades ahead on many levels - and not a sign of any share dividends.
