Working in an office full of women has it's drawbacks. I'm a woman so I know. Let's start with today's example of bullllllsheeet!

I work with the Vice President and his secretary. The Vice President Calls the secretary on the phone, from another location and she can't answer the phone because she's at her desk talking to the President. The President (so I thought) is over the Vice President. Well I put the VP on hold to get his secretaries attention, who was still conversing over business matters with the President.

Do I:

A: Interrupt and tell the secretary while interrupting the President that she has a call?
B. Tell the Vice President that his secretary is discussing business matters with the president and one moment please?
C. Wave my hands in distress from across the room to get the fucking bitch's attention?
D. None of the above, tell him to call back?

I did B. And the Vice President hung up on his own and called back later pissed. So this morning I got reamed for it, because as the Vice President so eloquently stated to his secretary to deliver to me that, "If his secretary is in with the President and he calls, he takes presidence over the President".

WTF, I told her that I didn't agree with this statement. I was about to tell her that in the future she needs to answer her own phone. But I didn't. I told her that I didn't agree with that, and also stated that in the future everyone in the office should just start answering their own phones to prevent incident's like this from occurring again in the future.:feels-hot

ARS has a health plan that you can pay with sign-ups. I have not researched it yet..

My insurance is a PPO. It fucking rules. They take a little while to pay thier bills, but when they get around to it it really makes a difference.
