By midnight, the entire first-team squad were aware that Mourinho, who led the club to two Premiership titles after joining the club in June 2004, will be forced out by their billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.

scottybuzz 09-19-2007 04:44 PM

best manager in the world - fact

MOxxx 09-19-2007 04:50 PM

finally Sheva will have the chance to play more frequently, now Abramovich i bet will ask capello to sign for Chelsea.

OY 09-19-2007 04:52 PM

And it had to be a team from Norway to make it happen. LOL!!!!

scottybuzz 09-19-2007 04:52 PM

IMO it is the stars like sheva, ballack, mutu, del horno and others that keep chelsea losing.

If you expect chelsea to win the CL without him then I think you are wrong.
I infact see where ever Mourinho goes, the team he goes to will start winning cups.

eh... i could be wrong.

kowalsky 09-19-2007 05:54 PM

Chelsea will get this champions league!

paprika 09-19-2007 05:56 PM

i hate the guy

Cash 09-20-2007 12:08 AM

He will not stay unemployed a second, but never again with the highest salary for a trainer, at Chelsea.

Sexsitesurfer 09-20-2007 01:36 AM

I am not a fan of him, but you cannot argue with results. No league losses at Stamford Bridge in 60 goes, two titles, 2 FA Cups, etc.

He didn't want Scheva and Ballack and the moment he wasn't in full control of the footballing affairs it was obvious he wouldn't see out his contract. Grant's move this summer further undermined his position.

It will be interesting to see what happens now, maybe a new manager, with new systems and coaching staff can breathe some fresh air into the team. Maybe not. Man U this weekend isn't the easiest entry point! :P

The Duck 09-20-2007 01:37 AM

Thank god for Carlo Ancelotti :)

voa 09-20-2007 02:34 AM

Where he will go now, back in Porto :)

Sarah_Jayne 09-20-2007 03:27 AM

The press conferences are going to be less interesting now.

DaLord 09-20-2007 03:53 AM

I really hate the guy but he got talent, to say the least.

everestcash 09-20-2007 04:03 AM

he really got talant though he couldn't do his best with chelsea

DamageX 09-20-2007 05:04 AM

Abramovich made a lot of smart moves since taking over the club. This one isn't one of those.

v4 media 09-20-2007 05:07 AM

If Maclaren loses to croatia/russia he can be the next england manager..
would be fun.

Violetta 09-20-2007 05:16 AM

about time... he is a dickhead

thesuspectdevice 09-20-2007 06:53 AM

Adult-biz 09-20-2007 07:16 AM

My wife will be disappointed not seeing him on regular post match interviews...good looking bastard that he is.

Quality manager. I wonder if he will take a pay cut and end up at Rochdale?

Porno Dan 09-20-2007 11:05 AM

I was shocked to read this. My boys from Man City are on fire, this is the year we go back to Europe.

When asked by reporters today if he still believes in his 'special' status, he replied "ask my wife if I'm special":1orglaugh
