My brother went to Iraq and some other countries to play the drums in a band to support the troops. While he was there (16 days) he filmed some nice HD locations. He just send me this edited clip. Pretty cool considering I didnt know he could do this.

He said at night there was no lights on in the usa camps, everyone gets these tiny little key lights, otherwise spiders take out the lights.
Also they went out one day, geared up, bullet proof bus. They came back to camp and counter 46 bullet holes in the side of the bus from spiders.. scary shit man. They dont fish in the rivers because so many dead bodies in the water.

iraq is a crazy place to be as a soldier I wouldn't want to just go over there for the hell of it.

I didnt even know he had left. I guess he knew I would try and tell him not to go because of the war. But I think he couldn't say/talk to anyone about it anyway.

I do look up at him, he works for some big music celebs on albums and he's well respected in the music community.

He was telling me about this one day they could only take 2 people out at a time to see where sudam use to stand and watch his troops walk buy. Massive swards and this amazinly big dome area. The 2 guys were guarded by 6-7 Australian troops.

He looked like a guy in the bomb squad. heavy outfits, could hold the camera up for long his arms hurt.

You might have guested, the bullets, bombs are some type of video editing package software.

He went because some of his music friends asked him. He's a bit of a risk taker. Some places I would never visit, he would go to.
