And you thought Bush was bad. Imagine if this guy had become president, lol...

LilBro 09-18-2007 08:44 AM

Ouch!!!!

stev0 09-18-2007 08:44 AM

I'd stun gun that annoying idiot too... he was told to leave and resisted arrest.

ServerGenius 09-18-2007 08:44 AM

he's getting some good juice too

headless ghost 09-18-2007 08:44 AM

he asked his question and wouldn't shut up.
he was told repeatedly to shut up and sit down.
he would not.
he lost.

headless ghost 09-18-2007 08:45 AM

it could have been worse.
they could have locked him up in a room with crying Franck.

There is a protest today starting in 14 minutes on the university campus where that took place. A couple of the officers claim they suffered injuries in that scuffle too. Kinda sad when 4 or 5 trained police can't even subdue a single whack job without resorting to a tazer. In fact it's impossible, not sad. They didnt need to taser him. Wrong as he was, he was completely, 100% already under the officers control.

Fletch XXX 09-18-2007 08:48 AM

and America stands by... no one cares, cops do this in front of people and no one does a thing.

Chris 09-18-2007 08:53 AM

this guy is an idiot

i posted this

Quote:

i didnt see them attempt to arrest him until he started fighting them
It looked as if he was being escorted out
this guy is a nut job looking for his 10 minutes of fame.
He knew he was being escorted out NOT being arrested. Yet he decided to resist his removal from the area.

He is in the wrong and I hope he gets a shit ton of jail time and meets some of the boys down in d-block.

Tom_PM 09-18-2007 08:56 AM

Yeah but when you have 4 or 5 officers, trained in their job, and the man is on the ground already, is it then ok to torture him with a taser? How is that permissible? Did it help somehow? What changed after the taser? I saw no reason to do it, and I think those cops are on borrowed time right now.

Stop being a dick with the Anti US rant.

From students that were there on the facebook group.

Quote:

Nicole, listen to this. ANDREW BROKE INTO THE ROOM DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE SPEECH. The police followed him in and attempted to bring him out PRIOR to his rant, however Kerry said that he could stay and ask his question. He then proceeded to force someone else off the microphone and rant. Andrew was NOT searched in any way (it is standard to be searched before attending a high level speech of any kind) becuase he had evaded police in the lobby. The video's do not show this. The LEO's had no idea if he had a weapon of any kind.

Quote:

Chris- How would you feel if you were in an audience and a crazed man waving a book broke in through the doors halfway through the Q and A period. Then that man forces another person off the microphone and begins to rant. The officers were acting in the best interests of everyone because andrew had NOT been searched because he evaded the police to get into the room.
Quote:

IF you weren't there, this is not the whole story. I was there, watched the Youtube video and read the paper.

If I wasnt there 100% I would have sympathy for him from what I've seen, but I was there and saw the entire thing start to finish and say he was out of line and disruptive and warned numerously.

I've read all these people WHO WERE THERE yesterday saying they support UPD and people WHO WERE NOT THERE saying they support Andrew Meyer

ServerGenius 09-18-2007 09:00 AM

he was on his back on the floor.....and zap......I'm sure he shit and pissed
himself.....the sucked that battery vacuum on him

Tom_PM 09-18-2007 09:02 AM

Thats right. THATS the point. He was DOWN ON THE GROUND under COMPLETE control of the officers, and THEN they decide to torture him.

THATS whats wrong with this. Not that the guy was a whack job, or that he wasn't invited, or that he was a dick. That makes NO difference.

It is standard procedure to use Taser to subdue a subject. All Cops are shot with tasers to ensure that they know how to use it, and what effects to expect.

solomonYBM 09-18-2007 09:03 AM

thats funny

Anthony 09-18-2007 09:04 AM

Four Police Officers were wounded during that scuffle.

They should have used the Taser earlier.

Good for you. It's nice to know you don't have idiots like Andrew breaking through security to ask questions about conspiracies.

this is not true, tasers are not used by all police departments in the US.

Quote:

The regulations regarding Taser use are left up to states and local police departments. California allows the use of Tasers by law enforcement officials, but seven other states have banned their use and one state has restricted them, according to multiple state penal codes.
Tasers are not common procedure, only to those who like the abuse of power.

No we don't have the crazy security in the first place

headless ghost 09-18-2007 09:08 AM

he is very lucky.
Kerry has Secret Service protection, they would not have fucked around like that, they would have beat the shit out of him.

Tom_PM 09-18-2007 09:09 AM

Yeah, "wounded". I dont believe they were "wounded". I think they made a fine point of looking for every bruise or scrape. Now they're "wounded" and have more leg to try to stand on legally and we all know it.

If 4 or 5 police, plenty of training, find it neccessary to torture an already subdued subject, then those are some fucked up practices in Florida. It seemed 100% un needed! Look at it, he was down and quiet until he saw they were going to taser him. Then he reacts like a normal human and begs them not to. It was wrong to taser him. I think those cops have had an earful by now, and are already preparing for trial.

I doubt it. I think like anything, a video can tell you one story, but not the whole story.

You confuse criticism with US hating/bashing if someone says anything else
about the US than You Rock he's an America Hater. Never said my country
is better than any other country in the world.....in fact I hate my country
and its government like no one else. Every country has good things and
bad things.....acknowledging them doesn't make weak or anything....even
disagreeing with it is fine.......calling someone an America hater for it.....well
that's just pathetic :winkwink:

eroswebmaster 09-18-2007 09:20 AM

LOL the guy starts screaming like a bitch when they escort him out...I'm talking about even before they taser his dumb ass.

I'm all for free speech, I'm all for curtailing the government, but I'm also for maintaining some semblance of order. This guy was out of line, and guys like FletchXXX who still think like 15 year olds about every cop out there need to grow up.

I know the persona that he wants to exhibit, I agree that is all. But I've seen enough of his posts to know that when it comes to the police, he rarely shows any rational reasoning behind his thoughts. In fact, he comes off as a kicking, screaming, impetuous child.

I don't label anyone, however when someone continually posts threads about how this country does this wrong, and how in their country this wouldn't happen...

It's not too far of a reach.
