6'4 290lbs here, yay!

D 09-16-2007 11:13 PM

6' 2" and I'm right at 250 lbs.

Not really "obese" though - I hold it well... I was a _solid_ 200 lbs before I injured my back... though I would consider myself "overweight" at present.

That's part of what's lent me to work on shedding them... I've lost 5 pounds in the last month (no dieting... just being more active), and don't see that trend ending any time soon.

SleazyDream 09-16-2007 11:17 PM

Approximately 119 million Americans, or 64.5 percent, of adult Americans are either overweight or obese. Estimates of the number of obese American adults rose from 23.7 percent in 2003 to 24.5 percent in 2004.

Leave it to the US Goverment to change what is FAT and What is Not FAT.

Bottom line America has a problem with FAT..!!

250 is a bit steep... I'm guessing 1 out of 15 or 20 men in this biz weigh that much.

Easily 1/2 this biz weighs over 200 tho.

If you really read America doesnt have a problem with fat but people make alot of money making you believe that. Use your head 65% of the pop is fat but the life expectancy is going up. You go to the shows is everyone you see there fat?

DaddyHalbucks 09-17-2007 08:23 AM

Not me. But I do need to lose some weight.

polle54 09-17-2007 08:25 AM

I weigh 83kg.

I think it's around 166lbs.

however I feel a bit fat these days considering I use to be in a real sharp form.

tony286 09-17-2007 08:27 AM

Im a fat guy no way around it ,if 65% was a true number. I would see fat people everywhere and I dont see that. I know probably around 50 people well only 7 are fat.
