How cheap is bandwidth becoming now? Give me some prices!!!

We are starting some new projects and need alot of bandwidth for them and its gotta be cheap bandwidth, cogent is fine etc.

What can you hosting companies offer for 100-1000 mbit ? 1 server for 100mbit, and say 7 servers for the 1000 mbit.

Want to know if anyone is doing less than $1000 per 100mbit yet? have prices remained steady for the last 12 months or gotta cheaper yet? If its not cheaper than $1000 per 100 mbit dont bother emailing me.

until people begin to insist that prices are posted publically, people can still play with prices between users.

I am so sick of the hit me up for rates and so forth.

10/mbps is at cost for cogent bandwidth for 200+mbps and they wont drop it to 8/mbps unless you go 10Gbps.

HE can go below 10/mbps and thats scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Suggestion? Colocate your equipment if your looking for that type of pricing.

1. some people have sigs turned off.
2. when trying to make a sale do not tell the customer to do work to make you money.

either that or they colocate with in them. They use their IP space.

If someone offers you less than $10/mbit they're either overcharging in a big way for the server rent, or they're overselling the hell out of their network.

Bandwidth is very cheap nowadays ...
