What's the worst thing about running a paysite?

Getting more traffic, that actually converts. The hardest, least fun part of my job is promotion. Taking photos? Fun. Web design? Rewarding. Drumming up traffic? Bleh.

I thought affiliates solved that problem, but I never did this before so I don't know

That's true, but in Gothweb's case, the traffic most of the affiliates are sending in probably isn't anywhere near as targetted as he'd be hoping for.

getting affiliates is just as difficult as getting traffic,you don't just bring out a program and think everybody is going to use it....

That's exactly it. There is no magic solution to getting traffic. It's not like setting up an affiliate program suddenly means you get as much traffic as OxCash. Getting your sites to scale is a bitch, no doubt about it.
