Nice publicity stunt.

Interesting idea, what are the chances this is a scheme to get people to verify they are adults thru a CC# and then you'll be bombarded with upsell pitches like mad. Sure you can trade free images since there's little money in that, but I bet PRVT is really after the upsells once the Napster community has verified they are adults with their CC#.

Not a bad idea, but not worth $2.4 million in my opinion.

If people had to verify they were adults by entering their CC# just to use Napster, they wouldn't get the millions of people using it like it originally did.

I offered far more than it was worth, I offered them $125.93 and the sent me here and the words they used, Oh My!!!:mad:

Napster is non-existent. Meaning zero users. All they would be getting is the domain name.

Private should just buy a new domain and create a product around a new name instead of spending $2.4 million on napster.com

Not worth 2.4 million? Someone should have told that to that German company trying to buy it for 8.8 million. Some court prevented the sale though. I'm sure someone will link to the article (it was posted here a few days ago i think)

Bertelsmann (that German company) already has put $85 mio into napster some time ago... and tried to get it for EUR 8.7 mio =$8.8 mio...
