PARIS – The McLaren team was fined $100 million and stripped of its points in the constructors’ standings Thursday in the spying scandal that has rocked the sport. McLaren, which leads the current drivers’ and constructors’ standings, was punished by the World Motor Sports Council for allegedly using leaked secret technical documents belonging to F1 rival Ferrari.

McLaren can not equal best if they been spying on main rival now can they?

First if your the best you do not get caught.
Second if your the best people are spying on you.
Third a one hundred million dollar fine = owned.

McLaren is a $500million annual turnover company.. so its not as bad as it seems... Plus the sport has needed somethings to happen to make it interesting again.... Lewis Hamilton being 1, This spy scandal being another and seeing whether Mclaren will shaft Alonso's world championship bid between now and the end of the season.....
