Teens no longer allowed to text and drive in California
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070914/...rs_cell_phones
Holy crap, did we really need an actual law for this...it would seem like common sense...er wait a minute... I barely talk on my cell and drive, I couldn't even imagine texting while driving... ok, this law is for all cell phone usage, but the whole texting thing really stuck out to me... |
I'm glad California is making it a law. Now if they can make it a law for teens to be 18 vs. 16.
So now all "young looking" people can be pulled over and asked for ID if they have a cellphone in view.
cool, huh? |

should be the law for everyone
We need this law in NY too, for adults also.
Why does it only apply to teens? lol
Yeah... should apply for everyone.
Of course, I also feel that not using blinkers for a lane change should be something the cops ticket for a lot more. People, generally, need to pay more attention when they drive. |
in NL its a fine of €130... for everybody. Wtf is this 'teens' part about? Retarded.
Why the hell was it limited to teens? Makes no sense, like it's okay for elderly people to text and drive at the same time?

I'm reminded of that episode in the Simpsons where Homer had a cigarette-light plug-in fondue machine (as well as a half-dozen other gadgets) for his car and ran off of a pier into the ocean.
this should be the law for everyone.
I'm driving as I post this!
oh snapzz
