trouble sleeping this week...
 

It hasn't been a good week. My mom had to go to the ER cause she has been very sick. She already weighs barely 100 pounds and lost over 20 of that in a week. She had NO potassium in her system on top of having pneumonia, lung infection, kidney infection, and a bladder infection. She's been seeing things and passing out. They gave her antibiotics and today she seemed to be doing a little better but it was a scary experience.


Sorry needed to whine a little.

That doesn't sound good at all. Make sure you stay all over those doctors/care givers for your Mom's sake...

I'm always impressed with breakthroughs in medicine in the lab, but sometimes not impressed with the attention to detail when it comes to providing the proper level of care to real people.

I wish your mother a speedy and full recovery - and remember to take care of yourself too. Set up shifts to watch your Moms if need be.

Try and sneak in naps whenever you can. Sleep is important during times like this, as hard as I know it is to get any.
