did anyone see the payout for NY pick 3?
 

the numbers were 9-1-1, but did anyone see how much they are paying out? usually the payout depends on the amount of winners...the more winners, the less the payout. There was an article in the paper that they said no matter how many people that won the pick 3, there will be a payout of $500 per winner!

The payout in Pick 3 games is the same every day. The odds are 1000:1, so if they Pay 500:1, well, they make a lot of money.

And for the record, this is at least the third thread about this now.

yes, thanks for pointing that out. Yes the odds are 1 in 1000, but the payout for the pick 3 straight is usually around $200-$300 dollars. I NJ, the pick 4 usually pays out $1500-$2000....when a plane crashed here a while back, everyone played the numbers of the flight, and the payout straight was $14. Because there were many many people that played the numbers, it made the payout low. One can only imagine how many people played 911 in NY last night, so you could have bet the payout would have only been $5 for straight, but they said they were going to pay out $500. kind of spooky that it one, but the lotto headquaters said they would pay high for it. Nice jesture.
