I am announcing the official death of CAD Versus USD jokes. Since the dollar is basically at par with the Canadian dollar now, and falling, I feel we should honor the death of the 1.50 CAD per USD exchange rate, which I miss so dearly.

So long, dear friend... may we see you again in another life.

No doubt! I still have American friends making the Canadian Peso jokes to me. They're all surprised when I tell them how the facts have changed.

For the first time in my life I'm truly sorry that I get paid in USD. I continually get pay cuts thanks to Mr. Bush's great management. :(
