Wouldn't it just be easier to call the restaurant from your cell phone and just tell them the order? It becomes just one more way they can mess up your order or give the cashier a headache trying to figure something out...

Must avoid even more human contact, must...

There are already some restaurants in Japan that do this.

I sometimes order chicken, pizza or my groceries on Internet. Works good if you have a CC.

I do Internet orders as well, like pizzahut and albertsons, but still not sure about texting...
