My husband has this friend, his best friend now since he was about 15. This friend has traveled all over the country, so he isn't like "protected" from the big bad world out there..... so he hits my husband up the other night and he knows what business I am in. You know what he wants?

OH, before I move on, this guy is a Christian, to the point he wants to talk about Jesus almost anytime he speaks with my husband.....so.....

He wants to know how to go about setting up an Adult TOY store for Christians. One where they can buy adult toys without being subjected to porn.. or nudity or anything of this kind.. you know? Dildos, and the like.

I nearly pissed my pants laughing and thought I'd give you all a chance to laugh too, EVERYONE needs a good laugh every now and again. lmao

i actually read an article some while back in the anb mag about christian's and sex toys and how a couple of brick/mortar shops cater to just christian's.

To me, that goes to show the hypocrisy when dealing with Christians.

Many religions look down upon masturbation and toys are certainly an instrument for that - is he going to check a person's religion and sell toys only to those who's religion don't preach against it?

I once had a Deacon of a church ask me if I was "on the internet" when I first started and I didn't know what the hell to say or do, so I simply said "would your church like it if you were on those kinds of sites?" and he never ever said another word about it. I should also mention, when I was working with dialers. MANY MANY years ago, I had more than a handful of Pastor's calling me asking how to get them off their Church computers, but you know? There are shitloads of non-fundamentalist christians who are not specifically against masturbation or the use of toys in the marriage bed, but many of them are very much opposed to porn. Or, even if they aren't, at least they don't want to have anything to do with it.

An adult toystore that is explicitly non-explicit and is aimed towards christian married couples could do immensely well. Hell, just think of the press coverage you could get with it.

Better yet, with the rise of christian marriage-counseling, certain (moderate) religious groups would probably actively promote sites offering such products, as long as the sites were very clearly not pornographic, and aimed at married adults.
